Minister William D. Garrett, Jr. was born June 30, 1961 to Mr. William D. Garrett, Sr. and Callie M. Garrett. He is the second of three children. He was educated in the Bullock County, Alabama school system. He is a high school graduate of Bullock County High School located in Union Springs, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama in August 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Whitesburg Heritage Bible College. As a student of The Word, he continues to grow in the wisdom and knowledge of God.
Minister Garrett answered the call to the ministry in 2005. He was licensed by the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association in October 2005. He received his ordination in the ministry by the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association in May 2006.
Minister Garrett has previously served various Ministries as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Associate Minister, Elder and Assistant Pastor. He currently serves as a Minister at New Life Community Church, where James M. Hutchins is the Pastor.
Minister Garrett is married to the former Esther D. Jackson, and together they have two children; Shannon Latrice and William III. He is employed by Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX, as a Project Engineer.
