Jackie is a native New Orleanian. She was baptized in the name of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ at the early age of 10 years old and was born again after visiting the Holy Land in 1979. She has served in the church in many capacities throughout the years while living in Louisiana, i.e., President of the Adult Choir, Assistant Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess, Board of Trustees and Finance Committee, Secretary of the Pastor’s Aide, etc.
She attended the Dominican College Business School in New Orleans receiving a Certificate in Business Administration. She also attended Union Baptist Theological Seminary Evening Division for four years. For many years, Jackie worked in the corporate sector as an Office Manager, Business Manager, and an Administrative Assistant.
She moved to Texas in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. In 2007, God led Jackie to New Life Community Church where she serves as the Church Administrator. She is responsible for assisting in the leadership of the church and serving as administrative point of contact for members and guest. She is responsible for the effective administration of the church campus, including effective utilization of all standard operating systems, policies, and processes. She uses her God given talents as a faithful and committed servant of God and his people in a church where the focus is on striving to be obedient to the word of God.
Jackie is a widow and has two daughters: Sheila and Dawn (Eric). The loves of her life are her three grandchildren: Brittney, Joshua, and Nigel.
